Math Tutor / Teacher

Job description Mathnasium is looking for motivated, responsible, and passionate individuals to become part of our Centreville Center team;

to make a difference in the lives of students by helping them build strong math foundations, boost confidence, and achieve their goals!

Responsibilities Include :

• Teaching students in a 4 : 1 ratio
• Facilitating a productive educational environment
• Applying Mathnasium's teaching methods and curriculum to instruct students in grades K-12
• Assisting with math homework and test preparation
• Professionally interact with students to keep them focused

Job Requirements :

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older
• Able to work opening shifts beginning at 3 : 00pm.
• Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required
• Math proficiency evaluation for math skills ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry
