Senior Business Analyst

The Sr. Business Analyst works under the direction of the Director PM / PMO and functions as an integral part of the Green Plains Business Technology Team.

The Green Plains PM / PMO Team provides project support, guidance, structure, and bridging the gap between business needs and solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes and requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify system needs, improvements, and opportunities for optimization.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Facilitate communication to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project goals.
• Lead in-depth analysis of business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on thorough understanding of business goals and industry trends.
• Take a lead role in complex projects, overseeing the entire business analysis lifecycle from initiation to implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Opportunities to lead project efforts.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and project sponsors.
• Act as a trust advisor, translating business needs into actionable insights / efforts.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree.
• Significant experience (generally at least 6 years working in a senior capacity) as a Business Analyst, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility, a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
• Strong understanding of both business operations and IT systems.
• Proficiency in system analysis tools, methodologies, and techniques.
• Project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies and software applications.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week, overtime required, perform regular on-call duties.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Relevant certification, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar would be a plus.
