Position Overview

The Clinical Resources RN oversees all aspects of supply chain management for one or more facilities, including procurement, inventory management, and the distribution of medical supplies and equipment.

This pivotal role aims to enhance financial performance through meticulous spend analysis, contract adherence, and budget management.

The Director is tasked with crafting and executing strategic initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the facility's entire supply chain operations, ensuring effective procurement, inventory, and distribution processes.
  • Evaluate financial performance against targets, managing contract compliance, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Address and resolve issues related to existing and new products promptly and cost-effectively.
  • Spearhead product conversion initiatives within the hospital setting.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with administrative leadership and peers.
  • Actively participate in various committees and meetings to contribute to organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, overseeing their work and professional development.
  • Report directly to the CFO of the Hospital while maintaining a collaborative reporting relationship with the Regional Supply Chain Leader.
  • Undertake a broad range of tasks as needed to support the supply chain function.

Candidate Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in nursing (BSN / MSN)

Experience

  • Prior experience at the Director level within a hospital environment is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in hospital supply chain management.

Certifications

  • Certification as a Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
  • Registered Nurse

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $102,876 to $135,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Other Requirements

  • No security clearance is required.
  • Must not require visa sponsorship.
