- Oversee the Sanitation team
- Manage the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Cleans and sanitizes a variety of production lines using dry and wet sanitation procedures.
- Acquires the items for COP and follows the COP process.
- Pays extreme attention to the previous production in regard to sanitation procedures including observation toward allergens, organic productions, and other specialized needs.
- Performs ATP and Allergen swabs in the event Non-GMO and allergen changeovers occur, if necessary.
- Inspects, and verifies cleaning and sanitation to provide a "clean break" between products.
- Use tactful communication skills to approach individuals, utilizing proper channels to deliver information accurately and successfully.
- Responsible to assist in the implementation of MMCP policies while ensuring company compliance.
- Constant observation of production and environmental GMPs.
- Assists other QC Techs as required to assure proper sanitation.
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, SQF, FDA, pest control, allergen control.
- Training new employees and other tasks and responsibilities as they develop.
- Keeping documentation of all sanitation procedures.
- Enforce commitment to SQF and producing safe, quality products
- Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed at IFS
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of sanitation experience required, 5+ years of experience preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to develop cleaning procedures required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Physical / Environmental Demands
- Lifting of up to 50lbs
- Exposure to temperatures of 90F+ and high humidity environments are possible
