Medical Equipment Planner
Description
The person in this role is responsible for the development and production of professional consulting services deliverables including :
- Technology / Maintenance Assessments, Capital Plans, Quotation Review and Analysis, RFP Development, Product Comparisons, and Feasibility Studies.
- Apply knowledge of and experience in healthcare technology and / or administration to assist Agiliti customers with technology related concerns including facility design and planning, repair versus replace decisions, equipment selection and procurement, and capital planning and budgeting.
- Serve as department content expert in such areas as imaging, laboratory, rehabilitation, moveable medical equipment, healthcare management and hospital finance.
- Develop customer-oriented tools around medical technology that can be deployed across our customer base in order to streamline the equipment selection and procurement process.
- May orient, train, assign and check the work of less experienced employees.
- Perform site-based Maintenance / Technology Assessments.

- Willingness to share specialized knowledge with others to increase overall effectiveness.
- Extensive knowledge of medical equipment and / or healthcare finance and / or healthcare administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, biomedical or related field.
- 5-10 years’ experience in healthcare.
