Admin Support / Information Specialist (Onsite)

  • Citizenship : U.S. Citizenship
  • Clearance Requirements : Tier 1 Background Investigation - National Agency Check with Law and Credit Check, and fingerprints. (Standard Form 85).
  • Estimate Pay : $58,000 - $60,000 (negotiable)
  • Type of Employment : 40 hours per week.
  • Period of Performance : 01 November 2025 31 October 2030 (Option to Extend Services)
  • Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered : Health / Dental / Vision.
  • Paid Time Off per Year : Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
  • Sick Leave per Year : Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.
  • Paid Federal Holidays : Eleven (11) Paid Federal Holidays.
  • Travel : Travel is not authorized
  • Relationship : Employee of our company.

Working Hours

Work will be scheduled generally from 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when the employees must work after duty hours and / or on weekends to support specific tasks. Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week. Temporary alternate work locations may be assigned.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred, ideally in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in creating and implementing organizational or administrative management policies and procedures
  • Experience evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvements
  • Experience providing training and technical assistance to staff
  • Experience in information and records management
  • Proficient in the use of a variety of IT programs, databases, and computerized systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to innovative and quality customer service
  • Physical ability to move a large number of files and / or file boxes
  • Experience with federal travel regulations
  • Experience setting up conference, board, or training rooms
  • Experience with other administrative services like office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and / or security
  • Experience providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues with AV equipment during events such as microphone and monitor connectivity, presentations or visual material access
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems

  • Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Receives public inquiries about the Agency and its mission via the USTDA website, phone, and / or email and routes as appropriate.
  • Process internal and external requests for project or Agency reports. Track checkout of project reports.
  • Obtains and disseminates participant list information from business briefings and other Agency events, creating and maintaining list information, working with outside contractors and Agency staff.
  • Provide agency-wide daily personnel status notification.
