Title : Psychiatric Technician

Hours : Combination of Day (7-3 : 30p) and Evening (3-11 : 30p) shifts totalling

rotating weekend and holiday shifts

Pay : Based on Experience $18-$27 / hour with shift differentials

Experience : Open to training, ideally experience with mental health or pediatrics

Overview :

The Psychiatric Technician is responsible for the care of patients ages 4-18 y / o experiencing psychiatric / mental health disorders.

Collaborates with a team in the observation, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for the patients within the area assignment.

• Monitors child and adolsecent patients' daily functioning and assists in mental health symptom management
• Docuements interactions accordingly
• Provide a supportive and collaborative approach to intervention
• Work with care team members to ensure patient saftey goals are met and protocols are followed
