Job Summary
The Strategic Assistant, Commercial Strategy is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on strategic initiatives for a high-growth, MN-based business. This position will provide administrative and project management support to the Chief Commercial Officer who oversees Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy and extends support to the CEO.
The Strategic Assistant, Commercial Strategy will serve as a key point of contact with internal and external stakeholders and must be able to anticipate the needs of an executive and proactively address them. The role is accountable for administrative and project management support around strategic initiatives, calendar management, and digital communications (internal and external email, presentation prep, memo drafting). This role will build key relationships within the Commercial division and across the organization, providing professional and timely communication and deliverables.

This role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, ability to work at a fast-pace, and ability to handle confidential information and situations with discretion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with special projects and initiatives across Sales, Marketing, and Commercial functions, often acting as extension of executive to further work.
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline the calendar, prioritize executive time, and maximize Exec time with the team to drive impact and results.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, building goodwill and relationships, on behalf of the executive, ensuring a professional and positive experience.

Food Safety Requirements
Clearly reflect food safety and quality as part of the JP brand, when planning and executing projects, and while interacting with relevant external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Strategic Assistant, Chief of Staff, Project Management Coordinator or Strategy Associate / Consultant in a high-growth company.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration or a related field required. MBA preferred but not required.
Experience with MS Project, Asana, or other project management software.
Experience within Go To Market (GTM), Sales, Marketing, Commercial Strategy or similar field preferred
Exceptional organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; efficient typing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to successfully interact with all levels of the organization.
Maintains a high level of professional standards (honesty, integrity, demeanor, confidentiality).
Adaptable, resilient, flexible, fast-paced / sense of urgency and able to manage multiple priorities or deadlines.
Brings a growth mindset to tackling new problems and development opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Expected Pay : $120,000-$140,000
