LVI Associates are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Claims Manager to join our clients team in New Jersey.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in construction scheduling, claims analysis, and dispute resolution.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, expert analysis, and effective solutions to our clients facing construction disputes.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage scheduling and delay analysis projects for construction claims.
- Conduct comprehensive schedule analyses, including critical path analysis, delay impact assessment, and forensic scheduling.
- Provide expert testimony and support in dispute resolution proceedings, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
- Collaborate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies for resolving construction disputes.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to facilitate their professional development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction scheduling, claims analysis, and dispute resolution.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex construction claims projects from inception to resolution.
- Expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and analyze critical issues in construction schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as PSP, PMP, or similar credentials preferred.
