Job Summary :
Senior Helpers - South OC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for our client in Mission Viejo. This caregiver will be available for weekend shifts, with a salary range of $18 to $20 per hour .
As the Caregiver, you will provide essential support to our client in their daily activities and ensure their well-being and safety.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and making a positive impact in their lives.

Responsibilities :
- Assist client with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings
- Medication reminders and assistance with medication management
- Monitor and report any changes in client's physical and mental health
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Companionship and emotional support for the client
- Communicate effectively with client, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best care is provided
- Follow the client's care plan and adhere to all health and safety protocols
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ideally has 1 year of experience as a caregiver or in a related field. No previous experience is required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and physically assist clients with mobility
- Availability to work weekend shifts
