Lead AV Technician

We are hiring for Lead Audio Visual Technician to work in the Phoenix AZ market. This role is a contract to hire, joining a growing team offering continued industry training and a career path.

Job Responsibilities :

Technical Work

Installation of Audio / Video Control Systems (Crestron, Extron), Projectors, TVs, Speakers, Amplifiers, and Sound Masking.

Upload Extron, Crestron, DSP code and if required, connect, and make any necessary changes.

Commission AV systems.

Installation of Mounts and hardware on various wall types and ceiling types for Projectors, Displays, Speakers and Wireless Microphones.

Installation and termination of AV low voltage cabling (18 / 2, Coax, CAT 5 / E, CAT 6,)

Termination of RG6, HD-SDI, SDI, XLR and RCA.

Dress and route cable from IT closets to device locations (AV Equipment Rack, TV, Projector, Speakers).

Cable pathway installation (J-hooks, D-rings).

Cable management (dressing and labeling).

AV equipment rack builds.

Troubleshoot audio, video, and control systems problems.

Read and follow blueprints set for installation.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols (Proper PPE, clean up jobsite, OSHA).

Management

Manage teams to effectively complete large-scale commercial projects.

GC / Client management experience.

Conduct safety meetings.

Order appropriate materials as necessary.

Necessary Labor Forecasting.

Blueprint changes. Submit change orders to Project Manager.

Job Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
