Maple Ridge Volkswagen is looking for an experienced Used Car Buyer to join our growing team! You will be responsible for acquiring / purchasing used car inventory from Third Parties.

Your Day-to-Day :

• Identify, evaluate, and acquire vehicles at high-volume daily from Online auctions, fleet providers and dealerships
• Manage inventory of vehicles purchased for resale
• Analyze inventory profitability, sales volume, and new sources of vehicle supply
• Monitor wholesale trends in the automotive market in Canada
• Maintain accurate daily / weekly / monthly and on demand reporting that reflects activities associated with wholesale buying
• Travels as needed to buying events including weekly auctions, if necessary

What You Bring to the Table :

• Automotive wholesale and / or used vehicle sales experience preferred
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
• Knowledge of and desire to learn Federal / Provincial / Local laws that govern wholesale / retail automobile sales and ensures wholesale program is compliant
• Valid Driver’s License and a safe driving record
