Descripción del trabajoProvide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients within a trauma setting. Support neurological surgeries and related procedures. Manage patient care from admission to discharge, ensuring continuity of care. Perform diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Document patient interactions and treatments in the Powerchart EMR system. Required board certifications : Neurological Surgery; Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) Other certifications : Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS); Basic Life Support (BLS) Must hold a valid New Mexico license as a Physician Assistant. About The Position
We are seeking a Neurological Surgery Physician Assistant for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in New Mexico. This role commences on Oct 25, 2025, with a 24-week assignment at a Trauma Center, operating on a 7on7off schedule, primarily from 6 PM to 6 AM. The position requires managing both adult and pediatric patients, focusing predominantly on adult cases with occasional pediatric encounters.
