Job Title : Sr. Java Developer
Location : Sat Lake, Utah- Hybrid 1-3 Days / WK
Job-Type : Contract : 5 years
Salary Range : 140,000-180,000 / yr
Referral Fee : 3,000

We are also open to contract or corp to corp agreements for highly qualified candidates.
Position Overview :
Our customer is in search of a versatile engineer with expertise in Java spanning the entire application stack, focused on the backend in a highly distributed environment.
The chosen candidate will play a key role in improving and maintaining websites and applications catering to both internal and external users.
This is an electronic recourse and eligibility platform for Utah residents public benefits.
Experience and Qualifications :
- Expert understanding of Java , versions 1.8 or higher.
- Expert understanding of Java servlets and filters.
- Expert understanding of RESTful web services / APIs.
- Expert understanding of popular Object Relational Mapping frameworks, especially JPA / Hibernate and Entity Framework
- Experience with writing Soap and RESTful web services using the Spring Framework
- Proficient in CICD methodologies and automated deployment pipelines in cloud environments
- Implementing Spring Security, Reading / Writing Spring Data to Postgres and Mongo databases
- Expert understanding of Spring MVC, especially Rest Controllers
- Proficient understanding of Spring IoC
- Proficient understanding of Scrum / Agile projects
- Proficient in Jira
- Proficient in Git and GitHub
- Proficient in DROOLS
