Materials Handler

The Materials Handler position is located in the Logistics Division, of Integrated Support Services (ISS) Directorate, Office of Chief Operating Officer, of the Library of Congress (LOC).

Responsibilities include : warehouse work receiving, moving, storing and delivering materials and supplies; erecting or dismantling office systems furniture, shelves, partitions, etc.

moving, arranging, and setting up furniture, rooms, and outdoor areas for public events; using hand tools and powered equipment;

examining furniture and equipment for deterioration and damage; and cutting and installing carpet tiles.
