We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Laborer / Carpenter Apprentice to join our team in Downtown Nashville. This position is labor-intensive and requires the ability to move materials from the ground to 1-15 floors using the buck hoist.
In addition to labor tasks, this role will also provide opportunities to learn the carpenter trade.
Responsibilities :
Use the buck hoist to move materials from the ground to 1-15 floors
Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks
Assist carpenters with measuring and cutting materials
Operate power tools and other equipment as needed
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
Learn and develop skills in the carpenter trade
Qualifications :
Prior experience not necessary
Ability to lift heavy objects and move materials up to 15 floors
Comfortable working in a labor-intensive environment
Willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
Reliable and punctual
Excellent communication skills
