Job Description

A prominent healthcare provider in Staten Island, NY, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. This role is essential in supporting the health and well-being of individuals in a residential facility setting.

About the Opportunity :

Schedule : Monday to Friday
Hours : 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm
Setting : Residential Facility

Responsibilities :

Coordinating and following through on health care services for assigned program(s)

Arranging medical services and issuing referrals

Providing follow-up on medical issues

Conducting staff training in medical administration and infection control

Handling control of communicable diseases and implementing preventive measures

Qualifications :

6+ months of Nursing experience (new grads welcome)

Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing

License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in New York State

Knowledge of equipment used by individuals receiving services

Strong communication and organizational skills

Interpersonal skills to interact with individuals, families, and staff

Desired Skills :

Experience in Community-based Health Services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities

CPR certification

Experience with OPWDD, Group Home, IDD / DD
