Clinical Education Manager Pay : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Job description :
This dual-role field position supports wound care excellence and regulatory compliance by training providers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs), conducting documentation audits, and serving as a liaison to SNF and post-acute leaders. All duties are performed within the LPN scope of practice as defined by the Massachusetts State Education Departments Office of the Professions, and in collaboration with licensed providers. Youll help ensure alignment with CMS and Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) standards, including F-tag documentation and QAPI efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Training & Onboarding
- Provide wound documentation training (e.g., staging, measurements, narrative writing)
- Lead in-person onboarding and clinical shadowing for new mobile providers
- Conduct in-services, charting labs, and mock audits at SNFs and HHAs
- Reinforce F-tag compliance (F684, F686, F657, F838 / F865) and align training with MA DPH guidelines
Audit & Documentation Coaching
Review provider documentation for accuracy, completeness, and complianceIdentify risk areas and guide providers through remediationAssist SNFs and HHAs in survey prep and internal documentation practicesContribute to QAPI tracking and documentation coaching initiativesClient Relationship Support
Act as a liaison between OWP and assigned partner facilitiesEscalate concerns related to provider documentation or client needsSupport DONs, ADONs, and nursing teams in maintaining wound care and survey readiness standardsMinimum Qualifications
Education & Licensure
Associate degree in nursing or healthcare-related field requiredBachelors degree (BSN or equivalent) preferredActive, unrestricted LPN license in MassachusettsValid Massachusetts drivers license and clean MVRProof of personal vehicle insuranceExperience
3+ years of clinical wound care experience in SNF, LTC, or post-acute settings1+ year in clinical education, onboarding, documentation coaching, or survey preparationFamiliarity with Massachusetts DPH and CMS survey standardsExperience influencing compliance through training and audit supportTechnical Skills
Proficient in EMRs (PointClickCare, MatrixCare, etc.)Skilled in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides)Experience using Slack or mobile field toolsTyping speed of 4560 WPMPreferred Certifications

Driving & Travel :
