We are building a next-generation virtual obesity medicine clinic that integrates three proven components into one patient experience : physician-prescribed GLP-1 medications, virtual dietitian coaching, and medically tailored meals. Our mission is to define the future of metabolic healthcare by delivering scalable, outcomes-driven obesity care through a value-based model that reduces healthcare costs while improving patient health. This venture is being launched out of the venture studio of Healthcare Shares, an early-stage healthcare venture capital firm, and we are assembling a world-class team of clinical and business leaders to help us achieve our vision.

The Opportunity : Defining Next-Generation GLP-1 Care Protocols

We are seeking a forward-thinking clinical or academic Endocrinologist to join our Board of Advisors. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond the current paradigm of GLP-1 prescribing and help design the next generation of clinical protocols for comprehensive, virtual-first metabolic care. The ideal advisor will help us answer the critical questions facing the field : How do we optimize titration and manage side effects at scale in a virtual environment? How do we leverage nutrition and behavioral science to ensure durable outcomes post-medication? How do we build the evidence base to prove the superiority of an integrated approach? You will serve as a key thought partner to our founding team, ensuring our clinical model is not only effective but sets a new standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the clinical nuance of GLP-1 agonist selection, titration, and long-term management in a diverse patient population within a virtual care setting.
• Guide the development of evidence-based care pathways for managing common medication side effects, ensuring patient safety, and promoting long-term adherence.
• Provide expert insight on integrating our three core pillars—pharmacotherapy, nutrition, and coaching—into a cohesive and synergistic clinical protocol.
• Contribute to the design of our real-world evidence strategy, helping to define the key clinical endpoints that will demonstrate the superiority of our integrated model to payers and health systems.
• Participate in quarterly virtual advisory board meetings, offering strategic guidance on our clinical roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
