Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Payroll & HRIS will oversee the payroll operations for over 2,500 employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires a highly experienced payroll professional with strong leadership skills, expertise in multi-state payroll (including California), and hands-on experience with Paycom payroll software. A background in HR and Benefits is a plus.

We are a fast-growing company with a strong commitment to excellence, and we are looking for a Senior Manager of Payroll & HRIS to join our team and lead our payroll and systems operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage payroll operations

Lead and supervise the payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across multiple FEINs and states.

Own the configuration, maintenance, and upgrade cycles of HR systems, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Lead the rollout of new HR technologies, from requirements gathering to deployment and training with a focus on California compliance.

Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices that scale with organizational growth.

Education

Bachelors in Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent experience

Physical requirements / Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and / or move items over 15 pounds. Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
