SAP Data Engineer

Summary

SAP Data Engineer is responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of data integration, warehousing, and analytics solutions within the SAP Datasphere platform, ensuring data quality, alignment with business requirements, and acting as a technical expert on data modeling, transformation, and data virtualization within the Datasphere environment.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall technical architecture for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption within SAP Datasphere, considering data sources, data quality standards, and performance requirements
• Design complex data models in Datasphere
• Develop and configure data integration flows, data quality checks, and data cleansing routines within Datasphere
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Gather data governance requirements and implement data security measures within Datasphere
• Monitor data pipelines and identify performance bottlenecks, optimizing data processing and query performance within Datasphere
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Partner with Accounting and Operations teams to design and implement data models and views in SAP Datasphere to enable accurate, real-time reporting
