A well-established, privately held Northeastern USA nutrition company is looking for a self-motivated Dairy Nutrition Tech Sales Consultant to manage and grow current regional sales relationships with direct-to-end-user accounts, potential dealer / distribution channel partners, and expand the market presence in the region with a 100% focus on dairy industry leading productions systems in Dairy pockets of northeast USA.

BS min. and MS preferred, with strong Technical Sales acumen and on farm problem solving, solutions driven mindset required.

What you will be doing :

• This position will be responsible for maintaining and increasing sales volume with established accounts and aggressively seeking new customers.
• Key focus on maintaining current and new business growth - building technical sales relationships with new customers.
• Cold calling and prospecting will be part of the position function.
• Provide overall growth strategy within the region.
• Be part of the Team strategy and creation of growth direction for the company.

A successful candidate for the Dairy Nutrition Tech Sales Consultant position will possess the following :

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of high performing outside technical sales experience with a dairy feed or dairy supply / animal health company, directly with large customers and through dealer service centers.
• A solid overall dairy industry technical knowledge in the areas of feeds, nutrition, additives and ingredients, animal health, parlor systems, and sales, as well as barn operational and production background a real plus.
• We need an outgoing, hard working person who has top-notch communication skills, a strong desire to succeed, and proven ability.
• Will need to be able to travel every day from a home base of operations.
• The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor's degree min (MS preferred) in Animal Science and 5 years of proven experience.
