Job Summary

As a Key Account Manager for BD and Sales in the Mobility division, your main responsibilities would include :

Main Responsibilities

  • Formulating a Regional Account Growth Strategy in collaboration with the Product Portfolio Managers
  • Managing budgets, forecasting sales, and reporting on key metrics to senior management.
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing with customers, ensuring that all Interplex incremental material and non-material costs are recovered.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and potential customers in the automotive industry and developing strategies to win new business.
  • Analyzing industry trends to stay up to date with the latest developments in the electrification products market.
  • Collaborating with product development teams to identify and prioritize new product features and improvements that meet the needs of automotive customers.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key automotive customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinating with internal teams, such as operations, engineering, quality etc. to ensure that all aspects of the customer's needs are met.
  • Providing excellent customer service and support, addressing any issues or concerns that customers may have in a timely and professional manner.
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry, including the competitive landscape and regulatory environment.

Required

  • order to be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in sales and business development, as well as experience in the automotive industry and with electrification products.
  • should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of automotive industry work experience in managing and building partnerships with OEM and Tier 1 Accounts.
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electronics.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive OEM landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, size, and prioritize recommendations of new business and partnership opportunities.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiation with both 3rd parties and cross functionally within a large business structure.
  • Passion, energy and drive to develop and grow multi-million-dollar business programs globally.
  • Exceptional business development and partnership management track record.
  • Strong command of business and financial modelling.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
