SUMMARY

Responsible for the maintenance activities of all agency properties, however the ICC will be the primary location for work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Perform regular maintenance required to maintain all properties to meet safety, security and appearance.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service via cell phone.
  • Assist in monitoring outside contractors to limit internal impact operationally at the ICC, also when they are onsite conducting assessments, determining job scope, or requested to do so by a manager.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while completing tasks related to maintenance, repair, or installation. This work is completed by addressing tasks on "Maintenance Work Orders - including completing proper documentation or required paperwork.
  • Ensure that all Safety Maintenance work orders are completed in a timely manner by prioritizing them. Expected completion is less than 48 hours.
  • Ensure that the vehicle assigned to the Maintenance Technician is clean, orderly, and serviced timely to prevent any mechanical issues.

This includes immediate communication with the supervisor of any repairs or problems with the assigned vehicle.

  • Coordinate the waste management process within the site which includes collecting and throwing away any damaged or unwanted property.
  • Managing the key control system for the ICC.
  • Establish partnerships with the internal ICC team as well as other maintenance techs that service Aunt Martha’s facilities to cover for them in absences or work together on larger projects.
  • Evaluate workspace safety throughout the building to ensure all staff are following guidelines to protect the functionality of the equipment.
  • Completes all Core Curriculum training(s) as required.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Working knowledge of skilled trades, such as HVAC, electrical or carpentry.
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and parts.
  • Strong ability to communicate in writing and speaking.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • One year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Or three to six months related experience and / or training.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Clear driving record.
  • Must possess own tools (power and hand).
  • Documentation of current automobile insurance.
  • Work on weekends required.
