Are you passionate about solving complex technical problems and keeping business-critical systems running smoothly? Cornerstone Advisors is seeking a Help Desk Support to provide high-quality support to our team members and ensure the stability of the IT systems that power our consulting services to banks and credit unions.
What You'll Do
- As a Technology Support Engineer, you will be the first line of defense for internal users, diagnosing and resolving a wide range of software, hardware, and network issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues, escalating when needed
- Own reported issues from intake through resolution, keeping users informed every step of the way
- Provide remote support via phone, email, or chat
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and secure access
- Share best practices and educate staff on IT systems and security protocols
- Help shape our IT operations by identifying trends and recommending improvements
- We're seeking someone who combines technical expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with network configurations, VPNs, and endpoint protectionExperience using help desk platforms like ServiceNow or FreshWorksAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical usersSoft Skills
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skillsCalm under pressure with strong prioritization skillsDetail-oriented and accountableQualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in technical support / help desk rolesExperience supporting professional services or financial services environments is a plusIT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are preferredWhy Join Cornerstone Advisors
