Responsibilities

  • Meet new business (Home / Commercial / Auto / Life / Health / Investments) production goals and objectives as established by company standards.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales through phone calls, networking, face-to-face meetings and internet communications.
  • Treat each customer contact as a whole person with many needs. Seeing cross and up-sell opportunities, including financial products, even if not initially expressed.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Present and explain insurance policy options and concepts in a way that is understandable to a lay person.

Requirements

  • Possess a Closer mentality, be intuitive, resourceful and be coachable.
  • Create relationships from a cold start and build rapport quickly.
  • A Property & Casualty insurance license is required to sell and earn commissions.
  • Life & Health and Securities licenses are highly encouraged BONUSES to sell and add more to your UNLIMITED commissions!
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to quickly operate a computer while holding an exploratory conversation during customer contacts.
