Descripción del trabajoPrepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring instruments and materials are ready for surgical procedures. Assist with surgical procedures, anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Ensure operating room cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. Transport patients and maintain equipment, following proper safety protocols. Participate in lifting and positioning patients, utilizing appropriate techniques. Demonstrate knowledge of age-appropriate patient care requirements. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire. No prior experience required; we value new talent eager to learn! $10,000 sign-on bonus available with relocation assistance $2,000 additional sign-on bonus for evening shifts

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to become an integral part of our dynamic Operating Room team. At Advocate Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal patient care by providing an efficient, clean, and safe surgical environment.
Job Highlights :
- Full-time position with evening shifts (8 or 10 hours)
- Highly competitive pay range : $26.10 - $39.15
- Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center, 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215
- Benefits Eligible : Yes
- 40 hours per week

Physical Requirements :
Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and be exposed to various hazardous conditions in a surgical environment. Personal protective equipment is required.
