Proposal Specialists are key members of our bidding teams, working as dedicated resources within each operating group (heavy civil, hydropower and renewables, underground, power delivery, and oil and gas) to support Barnard's efforts to win work. Leading and directing the creation of best-in-class proposals and presentations, Proposal Specialists use their expertise to craft pursuit-specific win strategies while also ensuring the compliance of all proposal submittals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Journalism, or Communications
• 3+ years of proposal management experience preferred.
• Experience in the construction / engineering / architecture industry a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Experience in developing proposal templates, newsletters and other marketing collateral.
