Job Description

• Lead and mentor other software engineers within the team
• Perform all phases of software engineering, including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing
• Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
• Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
• Work closely with architecture groups to drive solutions
• Participate in Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases
• Design and develop innovative solutions to meet business needs
• Identify areas of process improvement and build automated solutions to increase efficiency and productivity
• Review code and provide feedback on best practices and performance improvement
• Troubleshoot production support issues and provide solutions as needed
• Influence peers to use cutting-edge tools and follow best practices

Required skills include strong Hadoop technology knowledge, Pig Script, Map Reducer, Hive, HBase, Java, Spring framework, and Hibernate. Nice to have skills include Hadoop - Cascading framework.
