Job Description

📌 Job Title : Dental Assistant (Contract – 13 Weeks)

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join a high-functioning clinical dental care team for a full-time contract opportunity in Minnesota. This role involves hands-on patient care, chairside support, and ensuring smooth clinical operations throughout the daily treatment schedule. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and skilled in supporting dental procedures with precision and professionalism.

🔹 Role Overview

  • Full-time contract assignment (13 weeks)
  • Monday–Friday schedule | Day shift
  • No weekends & no call required
  • Must reside 25+ miles away from the facility to qualify

🦷 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dental providers chairside during exams, cleanings, procedures, and restorative work
  • Prepare treatment rooms, set up trays, disinfect operatories, and manage instruments
  • Support 4-handed dentistry techniques and maintain clinical efficiency
  • Record patient information and support providers with documentation as needed
  • Take radiographs and assist in patient care procedures
  • Maintain supply inventory, restock rooms, and ensure clinical readiness
  • Provide post-procedure instructions and ensure patient comfort throughout the visit
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards at all times

    • ✨ Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Minnesota LDA Certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical Dental Assisting experience
  • Strong patient interaction & chairside assisting skills
  • Knowledge of instrument sterilization & operatory prep
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
  • High attention to detail and infection control standards
