Warehouse Supervisor- Day Shift

Job Description

ROLE:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the activities and safe movement in receiving, storing, shipping of Finish Goods & Raw Materials. They will plan, develop & implement safety, site security programs and activities. Nurture Genpak’s Safety Culture with team members. Inspect the physical conditions of warehouse, PIV & WHS equipment. Communicate Production & inventory discrepancies properly through internal channels. Make sure all WHS operations; shipping, receiving rework processes operate in accordance with Genpak’s standard operating procedures & Safe Quality Food program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, organize & execute daily inbound & outbound activities.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedule and organize team to ensure proper coverage of warehouse shifts & Sealing Line.
• Reconcile production daily.
• Communicate to production team product demands for outbound loads.
• Manage product layout in warehouse to ensure efficient product flow.
• Assign workload tasks appropriately and measure results
• Ensure that daily reports are accurate, detailed and submitted within expected time of delivery
• Manage trailers on site. Communicate with carriers’ equipment demands.
• Maintain weekly Labor Report. Document exceptions.
• Execute maintenance activities when needed. Follow up with work requisitions for repairs.
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled production meetings
• Provide production date labels.
• Take initiative to accomplish open tasks; be proactive and seek additional work when available.

• Knowledge of Microsoft office, Oracle and familiar with database applications.
