The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as the strategic leader responsible for shaping, scaling, and executing the company's HR vision and organizational strategy. This role will lead all HR functionsincluding talent acquisition, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, total rewards, training and development, and HR systemswhile driving cultural transformation and operational excellence.

The VP of HR will partner closely with the executive team to design and implement people strategies that enable business growth, workforce stability, and leadership effectiveness across a multi-state, high-volume retail environment.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role suited for a dynamic, results-oriented HR executive with deep experience in retail, grocery, or large-scale consumer goods operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and operational execution of all HR functions, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and values.
• Drive a "People First" culture that fosters engagement, retention, and performance excellence across diverse and dispersed teams.
• Partner with the executive team to design organizational structures, workforce planning, and leadership succession frameworks.
• Oversee multi-state HR operations, compliance, and employee relations across retail stores, warehouses, and headquarters functions.
• Evaluate and modernize HR systems, tools, and vendor relationships (HRIS, payroll, benefits, talent management systems).
• Lead the HR team (including talent acquisition, training, and HR operations) to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Partner with finance and operations leaders to align compensation, benefits, and performance management with business priorities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and department heads on organizational effectiveness and change management.
• Ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation across all employment practices in a multi-state environment.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and leadership development initiatives across all business units.
