Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position

Performs a variety of duties, including transport, distribution and maintenance of patient care supplies and equipment, charging of these items, and maintaining inventory of selected patient-care equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Central Service or Operating Room experience highly desirable; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minium qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.

Familiarity of medical terminology specific to Central Services and supplies preferred. Requires effective verbal and written communication skills;

use of good body mechanics when lifting and carrying items.

Starting Hourly Rate $19.75
