Job Summary

The Sr. Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications and performing complex and analytical assignments that are required for everyday functioning of our hospitals and clinics.

This role is also responsible for the design, development, and site management of CHOC’s SharePoint Online footprint. This is a remote role.

Pay Range

Minimum $44.82 Midpoint $59.39 Maximum $73.95

Experience

Required : Minimum three (3) years of experience as programmer / analyst or equivalent. Experience in analyzing and designing existing systems and programs, developing, or recommending new systems and managing the development and implementation of SharePoint sites.

Responsibilities will also include gathering and documenting requirements. Will also include participating in the design and development of

solutions using Python, Java, .NET, Scripting, and JavaScript.

Preferred : Over four (4) years of experience as programmer / analyst. Information Systems experience within the healthcare field.

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform a plus.

Education

  • Required : Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.

Training

Required : Systems Analysis and Design, Database Concepts, Cost / Benefit Analysis, Application Programming experience.

Specialized Skills

Required : Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently. Strong programming skills, understanding of SDLC, databases and their usage.

Preferred : Developing Low-No Code Solutions on the Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate). Familiarity with IT Service Management within a healthcare organization.

Experience with Power BI. Experience using modeling techniques as a tool for application design and development.
