IT Support Specialist - Jedox Financial Consolidation Reporting Tool

Location : Houston TX Onsite

Type : Fulltime / Direct Hire

Overview : We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team, specializing in providing technical support for Jedox, our financial consolidation and reporting tool.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Jedox and related technologies, coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities :

Jedox System Administration :

  • Manage the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Jedox platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
  • Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as needed, following best practices and minimizing downtime.

User Support and Training :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user support related to Jedox, responding to inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on how to effectively utilize Jedox for financial consolidation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service support.

Integration and Data Management :

  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate Jedox with other systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain data models, cubes, and reports within Jedox, optimizing performance and usability.
  • Troubleshoot data integration issues and implement solutions to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Security and Compliance :

  • Implement and maintain security controls and access permissions within Jedox, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in IT security and compliance related to financial systems.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Jedox environment, streamlining workflows and increasing efficiency.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools to enhance the capabilities of the Jedox platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration, with specific expertise in supporting Jedox or similar financial consolidation and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Jedox administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries, and data integration techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and services to meet customer needs.
  • Relevant certifications in Jedox administration or related technologies preferred.
