Sous Chef - Full Time

Who are We?

Location : Concord Reserve, 2116 Dover Center, Westlake, Ohio 44145 Shifts Available : Full-Time - 11 : 00am to 7 : 00 pm with an every other weekend rotation.

What is Your Role? Sous Chefs are responsible for preparing and directing preparation of a variety of hot and cold food items and will measure and prepare ingredients following recipes.

The Sous Chef will be familiar with our recipes and quality standards to ensure our residents have an enjoyable dining experience. We Offer :

  • Knowledge of Proper food safety techniques : hygiene, gloves, knife skills, etc.
  • Knowledge of food service sanitation requirements and food safety.
  • Prior production and supervisory experience in a continuing care community, hospital, hotel, restaurant or similar experience is desired
  • Culinary Arts training preferred.
  • ServSafe Certificate is preferred but, will require certification upon hire
