Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities :

Engages with Action Officers at all levels up to MAJCOM staff regarding MTOs, acting as both instructors of government approved training materials and mentors for MTO education and implementation.

Plan required travel to MAJCOMs and subservient units for MTO education and implementation engagements. These engagements shall include Mission Command 101 education, Mission Command Tactical Top-Offs, working groups, large force exercises (ex.

Red Flag) and lessons learned events.

Coordinate with ACC Combat Wings to co-develop MTO templates for common scenarios (Ex. Red Flag) and conduct crosstalk between MAJCOMs for common lateral MTO tasks (Ex.

ACC to AMC request for airlift support).

Develop a process to provide MTO feedback from Wing to MAJCOM regarding implied and specific tasks, as well as overall MTO implementation / lessons learned.

Coordinate with ACC IG to develop evaluation criteria for MTO implementation.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications :

Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with MTO writing, planning and implementation at different levels up to Joint Staff

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience conducting staff support at MAJCOM level or equivalent.

Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or a GED.

Candidate must be able to travel at least 25% of the time, if / when needed.
