The role you’ll contribute :
Coordinates shift staffing, facilitates patient flow, serves as resource person and hospital management representative for the assigned shift;
and facilitates the delivery of patient services from all hospital departments during the designated shifts.
The value you’ll bring to the team :
- Determines shift staffing needs based on census, patient acuity, and unit matrix.
- Facilitates patient flow throughout the facility.
- Assists NRO and Nursing Team in maximizing seasonal and premium pay plans.
- Approves and signs traveler and agency pay sheets at end of shift worked.
- Assures end of first shift evaluations are done for contract agency.
- Utilizes appropriate resources for patient advocacy which may include collaboration with and intervention from : Nursing Leadership Medical Staff Case Management Spiritual Services
