- 5-7 years of finance / payroll exp from a technical background REQ
- 3-5 years of project and team leadership exp REQ
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent work exp REQ
- Expert hands-on knowledge of finance / payroll systems REQ
- Expert knowledge of report writing tools such as Microsoft Sql Server Reporting Services REQ
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills REQ
- Expert hands-on knowledge of Symplr (API) Time and attendance / Staffing & Scheduling system PREFERRED
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines; effectively lead teams; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills;
strong computer application skills; analytical and quantitative skills; and ability to work and communicate effectively at all corporate and service area levels.
This position works within the Finance / Payroll IS team and acts as a senior analyst working as a liaison between the Finance / Payroll Operations team and IT in order to ensure all Finance / payroll systems are functioning, optimized and upgraded across the organization.
This position will be a senior point of contact for the Finance / Payroll IS team as well as vendors and business partners, driving the maintenance, customization and upgrading of all finance / payroll systems.
This position will spend a proportionate amount of time leading projects and performing complex system change impact and data analyses, providing functional support and deep expertise to Finance / Payroll Operations team including process training, and remainder of time on technical items such as system upgrades, system integration and opportunities for implementing automation and streamlining business processes.
