Care Career is seeking a LPN / LVN Clinic for a travel job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Job Description & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years as an LPN, with travel nursing experience required . First-time travelers may be considered based on experience.
  • Education : Completion of a nursing education program approved by a Board of Nursing.
  • Certifications : BLS.
  • Location : Must live more than 100 miles from the facility. Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide nursing care for palliative care patients, seeing an average of 8 patients per day.
  • Conduct patient check-ins and rooming (1-2 half days per week).
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage phone triage, including calling in prescriptions and authorizing visits / prescriptions.
  • Support telehealth visits three half days per week and in-person clinic visits one half day every other week (subject to change).
  • Chart patient interactions accurately using the Epic system.
  • Assist with quality work queues for home health during downtime (if applicable).
