Job Description

Responsibilities :

• The Process Control Engineer will provide control system expertise (DCS, PLC, SIS) to operating facilities.
• Develop and maintain a process control program for Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems.
• Manage process issue resolution and problem-solving activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry, regulatory, and company standards.
• Identify cost reduction and defect elimination opportunities. Support procurement and management of spare parts.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and practices.
• Provide technical advice for operation and maintenance teams. Develop plant changes for safety, reliability, and cost reduction.

Troubleshoot failures using root cause analysis.

• Ensure hazard identification and risk management processes are in place.
• Relocation provided. $140K-$170K.

Requirements

• The Process Control Engineer will have a BS Chemical Engineering (or related) degree and 8+ years experience as a Process Control Systems Engineer in chemical, refinery, or related process manufacturing plants.
• Proficient in Process Automation and Safety Instrumented Systems, interfaces, protocols, measuring methods, field instruments, and actuated valves.
• Preferred experience in Yokogawa or Emerson’s Delta V DCS systems, and PLC systems including Honeywell and Rockwell.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
