Inventory Analyst/Planning Analyst

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm and we are currently seeking an Inventory Analyst / Planning Coordinator for a prominent client of ours.

This position is in North Chicago, IL 60064. Details for the position are as follows :

Job Description :

• $26-$29 / hour
• Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM
• Document creation and review.
• Updating policies and procedures and reviewing best practices.
• Warehouse work including packing and training warehouse workers.
• Issues tracking and follow-up, including working with various warehouse teams and external work groups and affiliates.
• Use of SmartSheet, Power BI, and Power Point Creation.
• Assisting in building communications tools and data analytics.
• Monitor daily inventory levels in IFS and SAP, Review Orders to move inventory from IFS to SAP.
• Work with the supply chain to manage inventory levels and distribution.
• Work with the warehouse to ensure inventory is moved promptly.
• Work with customer service on potential backorder inventory and resolve.
• Monitor and collaborate on intercompany inventory transfers and execute.
• Work with warehouse and compliance to process RMA(s), RTV(s), and rework as it pertains to distribution centers.
• Create and / or manage daily inventory, shipping, and invoice reports. Generate reports to assist the team with planning activities.

Qualifications :

• HS Diploma required
• Document management-focused experience required.
• Experience working in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and warehouse processes / procedures.
• Good technical skills, for example using, experience using SmartSheet and / or PowerBI.
• Strong analytical / data skills.
