Our Position
The Nurse Practitioner Manager position is responsible for all Behavioral Health Medical Professional (BHMP) services under the direction of the Medical Director.
The Nurse Practitioner Manager position also works closely with the Medical Director to coordinate and improve clinical care.

Your Responsibilities
- Supervises, evaluates and provides leadership and coaching to BHMP personnel.
- Responsible for scheduling and arranges coverage for BHMP absences.
- Works as a BHMP in a variety of capacities during staff shortages and in emergent situations.
- Assures that the delivery of BHMP care complies with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
- Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
- Provides Clinical Supervision to BHMP staff.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Provides ongoing audits of services provided by BHMP staff.
- Participates in the Operational Performance Committee and the Clinical Performance Committee, assuming responsibility for continuous improvement of operational and clinical Key Performance Indicators as they pertain to BHMPs.
- Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Performs other related duties assigned.

- Valid and current state-specific Nurse Practitioner license.

- Master’s Degree or above in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, certification in Psychiatric care and DEA registration.
- Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including two (2) years of behavioral health nursing and two (2) years of management experience.
A Nursing Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
