JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations in Fort Collins. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of our vacation rental properties, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage our housekeeping team, ensuring cohesion among diverse personalities and cleaning styles. Your role involves hiring, training, and providing ongoing coaching sessions to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Strategize and implement a comprehensive training program to uplift and continually improve the skills of our housekeeping personnel.
  • Organize and maintain housekeeping schedules across properties, supporting cleaners with varied personalities and styles, while ensuring adherence to consistent, high-quality cleaning standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to guarantee the highest cleanliness standards and update property documents, including detailed cleaning instructions.
  • Oversee inventory, procurement, and distribution of supplies to various properties, maintaining seamless operations.
  • Act as a central point of contact for addressing complaints and resolving issues, contributing to overall guest and homeowner satisfaction.
  • Communicate and enforce housekeeping policies, standards, and procedures. Engage actively in team meetings, fostering collaboration across departments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum one year managing large cleaning crews, with three years of hands-on cleaning experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at working with diverse personalities and encouraging a positive team dynamic.
  • Ability to motivate, support, and coach individuals with different cleaning styles through regular training sessions.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Work Order Scheduling Software.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritization skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining exceptionally high-quality standards.
  • Experience developing housekeeping and laundry training material and facilitating training sessions.
  • Partial fluency in Spanish is beneficial for this position.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a large team of in-house and contract cleaners
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

  • $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 Salary, based on experience
