AST SpaceMobile is building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space to operate directly with standard, unmodified mobile devices based on our extensive IP and patent portfolio and designed for both commercial and government applications. Position Overview

We are seeking an Aerospace Direct Recruiter. The ideal candidate will source, screen, interview, and place candidates for a variety of roles in our Midland, TX location, such as engineering, manufacturing, and technical trades. This role requires a solid understanding of the industry, familiarity with regulations (such as ITAR), and the ability to build strong candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill and highly specialized positions. The direct recruiter also collaborates closely with hiring managers to understand department needs and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Talent acquisition strategy : Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to meet organizational hiring goals.
• Full-cycle recruiting : Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation.
• Sourcing : Proactively source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, industry networks, and referrals, direct headhunting i.e LinkedIn, Universities and Colleges, job fairs, and participle in Chamber of Commerce.
• Collaboration with hiring managers : Partner with department leaders to define job requirements, write compelling job descriptions, and provide updates on recruiting progress.
• Candidate management : Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Compliance and security : Ensure all hiring practices comply with industry regulations and manage security clearance processes when necessary.
• Employer branding : Promote the company's culture and career opportunities to attract top talent partnering with our marketing department and Corporate Recruiter currently located in Lehman, Fl.
• Reporting : Track and report on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill and pipeline health, to measure effectiveness.
