Lead UX Designer
Location : NJ. Hybrid but remote also fine for strong candidate

Key Capabilities
- Effectively present and defend design rationale based on the brand, business needs, user goals, and usability, rather than personal opinion
- Strong understanding of interface design principles; navigation and architecture; and typography, color, and layout principles
- Experience designing for AI-powered applications, including conversational interfaces, data visualization, and algorithmic decision-making systems
- Proficiency in design system creation and maintenance, including component libraries, design tokens, and documentation standards
- Knowledge of DesignOps methodologies, team scaling practices, and design process optimization
- Familiarity with standards-compliant web design and the capabilities and constraints provided by CSS, JavaScript libraries, mobile app frameworks, etc.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Experience with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), vibe coding tools in Figma, MagicPath, Lovable, etc and ability to evaluate and implement new tools
- Collaborate with technical team members and mentor more junior colleagues
- Speak and write well, play well with others, and engage with senior-level clients
- Experience in consulting and the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Willingness to travel to client locations and collaborate with distributed delivery teams
- Strategic thinking ability to align design initiatives with business objectives and technology roadmaps.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a design discipline, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, or relevant experience. Continuous learning mindset with staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving design practices
