Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to efficiently manage cash receipts and ensure real-time analysis of customer accounts. This role will involve monitoring customer orders, creating aging reports, generating monthly accounts receivable summaries, and assisting with credit memos and customer financial profiles.

Responsibilities :

• Promptly apply cash receipts against customer accounts for real-time account analysis.
• Monitor domestic and foreign customer orders and proactively assist supervisors with recommended actions for customers with credit issues.
• Create aging reports, monitor balances, and arrange collections proactively.
• Generate monthly accounts receivable summary reports and sales reports, providing insights into trends.
• Generate credit memos, approve, and troubleshoot open return authorizations.
• Update customers' financial profile information and document customer issues as they occur.
• Manage the credit application process.

Work Environment :

This position requires working on-site for 5 days a week at the Carteret location, from 8am to 5pm. The team consists of 7 accounting / finance professionals. The company offers two free 15-minute breaks and a mandatory 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The team is part of a fast-growing company with over 200 employees.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carteret, New Jersey. This position is moving extremely fast as this is an urgent need for the client.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
