Under general supervision, the Painter II performs interior and exterior painting, to include preparing surfaces and affected areas.

Shift : 7am to 3 : 30pm

What Will I Be Doing :

• Completes work orders as assigned per safety requirements.
• Responsible for inventory, paint equipment, ordering, receiving, stocking and supply levels.
• Maintains ordering requests, monthly inventory, paint color cards and files.
• Completes daily inspection of assigned areas.
• Inspects areas for corrosion control and painting needs and repairs problems areas.
• Assists facilities team members in emergency situations.
• Prepares surfaces for painting by filling nail holes, patching cracks and joints with filler.
• Ensures smooth paintable surfaces by scraping, sanding, and removing loose paint.
• Selects premixed paints or mixes own paint.
• Paints with brushes, spray gun, or rollers.
• Stores paint and related chemicals in accordance with Company safety policy.
• Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
• Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
