Job descriptionExcellent Training and Development Competitive Compensation Friendly Work Environment Top Tier Benefits Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement Performs short road test to ensure proper installation Reviews service with customer Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations High school graduate, comparable vocational training or 6 months of tire technician experience Must have knowledge of non-technical tire and auto service processes and procedures. Knowledge of systems software pertaining to automotive servicing Preferred Experience : Knowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-Data Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience Certifications : Prefer TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) 200. Level 300 or 400 level a plus

Stutz Automotive / RGV Tire Pros is so much more than a Tire shop and we are looking for even more great talent to join our family! As a Automotive Tire Technician , you are looked at as the heart of the store and the go to person as soon as our customers enter our retail stores for all of their tire needs. You dont need to be able to tear a motor down and rebuild it (however, if you can, thats awesome) but we do need you to have a background and knowledge of tires - how to install, balance and mount them. As a Automotive Tire Technician is a great opportunity whether you are looking to spend your career with us as a Tech, want to work full / part-time or you just want to get your foot in the door with us to explore other careers at some point We welcome you!
