We are seeking a Billing Clerk for our client based in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. As a Billing Clerk, you will be an integral part of the financial operations, focusing on processing customer bills, ensuring data accuracy, and fostering strong interdepartmental collaboration.

Responsibilities :

• Efficiently process bills, invoices, and services rendered to customers
• Rigorously evaluate billing documents for completeness and accuracy, rectifying any discrepancies or missing data
• Construct and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure financial integrity
• Collaborate closely with other teams to guarantee consistency and quality of data
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Outlook, and other electronic systems to maintain and enter data, ensuring its integrity and accuracy
• Answer inbound calls and address customer inquiries, maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial management
• Use accounting software systems, such as About Time and EHR SYSTEM, to streamline accounting functions and enhance efficiency
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with Computerized Billing is essential
• Working knowledge of EHR SYSTEM is necessary
• Familiarity with About Time software is expected
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions is a must
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed
• Ability to manage Answering Inbound Calls is crucial
